How it started
SiNCE 1997
Hood-Pro was among the first in the country to be formally certified under NFPA 96, a standard for ventilation control and fire protection. This certification, earned in Dayton, Ohio, set the tone for a career centered on safe, code-compliant service.
In 2005, Hood-Pro formalized their knowledge into a comprehensive training program through Hood-Tech Institute, a company dedicated to training and certifying technicians and business owners in this critical, recession-resistant field.
